Linen Care Guide
1、Washing
Water Temperature: We recommend washing in lukewarm water (below 40°C) or cold water. Excessively high water temperatures may cause the linen fibers to shrink or become damaged.
Detergent: Please use a neutral, mild detergent. Never use detergents containing bleach or optical brighteners, as these can damage the natural fibers and cause fading.
Washing Instructions:
Machine Wash: Select the “Gentle cycle.” Do not overload the washing machine; allow the linen enough space to move freely to prevent excessive twisting and distortion.
Hand Wash: Gently agitate; do not wring or twist dry.
Sorting: Be sure to wash light-colored and dark-colored linen separately.
2、Drying
Air-dry (preferred): Linen dries quickly. After washing, gently shake out the garment and lay it flat or hang it on a hanger to air-dry in the shade.
Avoid direct sunlight: Strong direct sunlight can make the fibers brittle and cause fading.
Tumble Drying: If you must use a dryer, select the low-heat setting. Remove the garment while it is still slightly damp (about 80–90% dry) to help reduce stubborn wrinkles.
3、Ironing
Iron while slightly damp: This is the best time to iron linen. Ironing while the fabric is still slightly damp yields the smoothest results.
Temperature Setting: Use the iron’s “Linen/High Heat” setting.
Prevent Shine: For dark-colored linen, it is recommended to iron on the reverse side to prevent shiny marks (shine) from appearing on the front.
Embrace the Creases: Moderate, natural creases are a hallmark of linen’s unique texture. If you’re going for a casual look, you can skip the ironing step entirely.
4、Stain Removal
Treat Immediately: Rinse the affected area with cold water as soon as you notice a stain.
Spot Cleaning: Gently dab the area with a small amount of mild soapy water. Once the stain has dissolved, rinse thoroughly. Do not scrub vigorously, as this may cause localized wear and discoloration.
5、Storage
